fischertechnik is a German construction kit developed more than 50 years ago. It is used throughout the world for K-12 STEM Education, pre-built models for simulation and visualization of industrial applications and university engineering courses. The basic building block can be built onto all six sides. This German design and engineered block forms the basis for all fischertechnik construction sets, which are put together according to age and capabilities of the students. The sets cover many topics incl. Mechanics, Statics, Electronics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Optics, Renewable Energies, Drive Systems, Physics, Mechatronics, Robotics and Industry 4.0 / IoT. They are supported by building instructions and tutorials as well as storage systems for everyday classroom use.
With the fischertechnik Training Factory Industry 4.0, digitalisation activities can be simulated, learned and applied on a small scale before they are implemented on a large scale. An extremely flexible, modular, reasonably priced and robust training and simulation model, higly efefctive in use.
The stationary sensor station with a moving camera, new environmental sensor and other sensors, enables the measurement of air temperature, humidity, air pressure, air quality, volume and brightness. The camera monitors the room and triggers an alarm, e.g. when there is movement in the room, and can create snapshots. The model can be programmed and controlled with ROBO Pro software and the ROBOTICS TXT Controller.
The new “Starter Set for micro:bit” by fischertechnik teaches the basic principles of programming with micro:bit single board computers for students grades three and up in an easy to understand way. This complete set includes a fischertechnik part set for building three stationary models and the new fischertechnik “micro:bit IO F5 adapter”. The adapter board has 8 outputs and 6 inputs. It can be used to control simple, easy to understand demonstration models
